The Finals of the 51st Festival Internacional del Cante de las Minas were held on Saturday 13 August 2011 in La Unión.
The 16-year-old singer from Badajoz, Celia Romero, won the ‘Lámpara Minera 2011’, the 22-year-old guitarist, Juan Torres Fajardo, ‘Habichuela Nieto’ won the Bordón Minero trophy and the dancer, Lucía Álvarez, ‘La Piñoña’, won the ‘El Desplante’ trophy. (Juan Torres is the grandson of the guitarist Juan Carmona Habichuela.)
The first prize for the flamenco instrumentalist went to the pianist Sergio Monroy from San Fernando in Cádiz.
