The flamenco tablao Los Gallos was opened in April 1966 by José Luis Núñez de Prado, an aficionado of flamenco, in the Barrio de Santa Cruz in central Seville.

Among the many flamenco artists to have visited and performed, they list: Merche Esmeralda, Cristina Hoyos, Antonio Mairena, La Paquera de Jerez, Manolo Marín, Farruco, Matilde Coral, Enrique El Cojo, Paco Taranto, Trini España, Ana Mari Bueno, Manuela Carrasco, Naranjito de Triana and Gabriela Ortega.

This advertisement for Los Gallos appeared in the ABC newspaper in 1968.
