Flamenco Festival London at Sadler’s Wells continues this weekend with an incredible selection of flamenco’s finest contemporary artists.

Gala Flamenca features the flamenco dancers Mercedes Ruiz, Eduardo Guerrero and María Moreno with guest singer María Terremoto  Friday 12 July and Saturday 13 July 2019 at 7.30pm. Tickets

Also on Friday 12 July 2019 at 6pm,  the flamenco guitarist David Carmona from Granada presents Un sueño de locura  – A Dream of Madness from his first solo album of the same name Sueño de Locura (Nuevos Medios, 2017), which features Estrella Morente and Tino di Geraldo. Later, on Friday 12 July 2019 at 8.30pm,  the theme of new young flamenco talent continues with the young flamenco singer and guitarist Kiki Morente – the son of legendary singer Enrique Morente and dancer Aurora Carbonell – brother of the singers Estrella Morente and Soleá Morente – presenting Albayzín – which takes its name from the gypsy quarter of Granada where he grew up. Here he speaks about his beginnings and the release of his first recording called Albayzín, dedicated to his father, Enrique Morente.

On Saturday 13 July 2019 at 6.30pm, Flamenco Festival London presents the UK première  of the award-winning flautist and saxophonist Sergio de Lope in Ser de Luz. Making his London debut, Sergio de Lope and his ensemble will also feature the young flamenco dancer Christina Aguilera. Tickets

Flamenco Festival London 2019 finishes on a high point with the choreographer, director and multi-award winning dancer Patricia Guerrero’s  Catedral on Sunday 14 July 2019 at 7.30pm. Tickets
