The flamenco guitarist Antonia Jiménez will be returning to London on Thursday 19 July 2018 to give a solo recital at Kings Place, as part of the  four-day International Guitar Foundation Guitar Summit.

On Friday 20 July 2018, she will be giving a masterclass in flamenco guitar at Kings Place from 10am. Non-active observer participants are also welcome.

Antonia Jiménez is from El Puerto de Santa María in southern Spain but moved to Madrid many years ago for the sake of her art. Apart from having worked with many outstanding flamenco artists, such as the singer Carmen Linares, dancers Olga Pericet, Rocío Molina, Manuel Liñan, Marcos Flores, among many others, she has worked in the flamenco tablaos of Madrid for over 20 years, where she has further honed her art as an accompaniest of cante and baile, Here she is playing a Taranta

On Thursday 19 July, she will be performing solo at Kings Place

Her performance at the 2018 Flamenco Festival London was sold out and needless to say, she received a standing ovation at the end of her performance! My review of her outstanding performance at the 2018 London Flamenco Festival is published in the Summer 2018 issue of Classical Guitar magazine,
