The flamenco guitarist, Dani de Morón, makes his London debut at Kings Place on Friday 24 October 2014, in a Tribute concert to Paco de Lucía. Performing with Dani de Morón are the flamenco dancer Jairo Barrull and singer Miguel Lavi.
The performance is part of IGF’s London Guitar Festival, which includes a masterclass on Saturday 25 October 2014 from 9.30–11.30am with Dani de Morón.
Panel Discussion Tribute to Paco de Lucía with flamenco guitarist Paco Peña, the writer James Woodall and Thérèse Wassily Saba, on Paco de Lucía’s inestimable contribution to the development and future of flamenco, also offering an opportunity to mourn the loss of this great musician. London Guitar Festival‘s Artistic Director, Tom Kerstens, will chair the discussion in Hall Two at Kings Place on Saturday 25 October 2014, from 4–6pm.
The Dani de Morón Trio will perform on Thursday 23 October 2014 at The Sage in Gatehead, as part of IGF’s North East Guitar Festival.
