The Paco Peña Flamenco Dance Company is presently touring the UK with Quimeras ending at Sadler’s Wells from 23 November–1 December 2012.

In this rhythmically energised flamenco show, Paco Peña blends, compares and contrasts the music of North Africa with FlamencoQuimeras, which is directed by Jude Kellyexplores the themes of migration, travel and the dream of a better life. It tells the story of a group of immigrants workers who have come to Spain from Africa in search of work and a better life.

Quimeras was premièred at the Edinburgh International Festival 2010. In the Company are: Paco Peña, Paco Arriaga, Rafael Montilla, José Angel Carmona, Antonia Nogaredo, Angel Muñoz, Charo Espino, Marco Flores, Guadalupe Torres, El Negro, Kwame Crensil, Felix Cheetham, Victoria Dzivenu, Michael Neequaye, Yaw Gilbert and Roger Allotey (Akwasi Mensah).
